outlook wont/cant block mail

I,ve been getting delivery subsystem and virus found in email messages and i cant get outlook to block them Can anyone advise on a way round this problem??the company are called esafe but i,ve never had any dealings with them.

esafe is a security company according to their website. Are you saying that is what is coming through to your emails or that there is also a virus?

What I do if I cannot block the e-mails (and that depends on the age of your Outlook) is to create a rule that says whenever mail comes in from a particular address or with particular words in the address, to delete it immediately. This means it comes in but is then permanently deleted, thus taking away any risk of accidentally opening a malicious file and getting rid of the irritation of these e-mails in your inbox.

1st email tells me its returned mail with fatal errors---2nd email comes at exactly the same time-- SPAM this an alert from esafe---mail modified to remove malicious content ---this mails from address, contains the 2nd part of my email address.Now the mails dont come from me and i would never open one but outlook wont block them for me.I contacted esafe and they tell me the mail is not from them but spammers who are trying to get confirmation of addresses and using the company name because esafe have masses of anti spam info .they also said that some spam can now not be blocked!! Its a bit of a worry.I hope this reply makes sense.

It does make sense. Try what I have suggested and create a rule in Outlook to delete any mail with esafe in it.

Bossyboots---thanks i've done that now.created rules for first line of each message because they are usually the same format!!I hope it does the trick--what a pain though--my pc used to be fun and emailing all over the place was even more enjoyable. thanks again
