2.5m fridge

Hello

I have a 2.5m fridge in my shop with a remote unit. It's only 2 years old, I have been told that the remote unit is the wrong size for the fridge as its only 2.1KW. He recomends at least 4.5KW, I have noticed in the sumer it needs to be turned down in order for it too cool a bit more and the remote unit runs for about 45mins before it turns off.

Also, my electric bill has shot through the roof since having the unit put in. A new remote unit costs about £1200 inc fitting he recomends getting it done.

I wanted to know if he is right or is he having me on.

Thanks
