Mary Jane Crocs - Help On Sizing

Could someone please help me. I have sold a pair of Mary Jane Crocs on ebay which state size 7 on the bottom. They do not state whether they a UK size 7 or US size 7, only size 7. I persumed that they were a UK size 7 as they were far too big for me as I am a size UK 6 - hence the reason for sale (I
originally bought them off someone on ebay who falsly stated they were a UK 6 - even when it states size 7 on the bottom).

The new buyer has e-mailed me, stating that they are a US size 7 because apparently all Mary Jane Crocs have the US size stamped on the bottom and therefore she says that they are a size 5 (UK) which I find it hard to beleive when they were far too big for me. When I listed them I did not state that they were a uk size or US size nor did she e-mail me to ask anything prior to her bidding on them (she apparently has 4 pairs of Crocs already so you would think that she would have "asked a question" to try to clarify before bidding on them).

My problem is that she wants to return them for a full refund plus 2 lots of P&P which I have no problem with if it is correct that all Mary Jane Crocs have the US size stamped on the bottom regardless of whether it has US stamped or not. Sorry this is abit long winded but I don`t know whether this buyer is trying to pull the wool over my eyes or whether she is correct. I have e-mailed ebay and asked them for advice but they have basically said to sort it out between ourselves. I have looked at shoe conversion sizes and therefore if these Crocs were a US size 7, then she would be correct on what she is saying but I still need to know if all Mary Jane Crocs have the US size stamped on the bottom before I refund her money. I would be greatful for any advice.

all crocs have the us size stamped on the bottom. if they say 7 then they are a uk 5.

that style of crocs are are meant to be worn big and loose fitting, which might explain why they seemed big on you.

    hope that helps

my mary janes, prima and alice have W8 on them which means womens US 8, which is uk 6.

my caymans have M6/W8 on the bottom which means US mens 6/US womens 8, which is again uk size 6.

Thanyou very much for your help. Thats cleared that up. I`ll go and e-mail the buyer now and ask her to return them for a full refund plus her p&p costs for her to post them back to me.

I honestly thought that they were a size UK 7 because of the 7 stamped on the bottom and also because they were too big for me and it was the first pair that I have bought so I wasn`t sure who was right.

I think I`ll just refund her money and put an end to it all as it does appear that the buyer is correct, going by everyone elses info on this thread. I wouldn`t want bad feedback because of it but she seems to be a nice person - going by her e-mails so hopefully she won`t leave me bad feedback. Thanks for your help anyway.
