  • Hello,
    Today I have had a NSD.
    Booked a mystery shop for Saturday.
    Took by boyf's debit card off him to stop him wasting money on things we dont need.
    Done a wash on 30.
    Follow boyf round the house turning lights off behind him. :rolleyes: I am really starting to feel the pinch now planning this wedding, so every penny counts. :money:

    morning all :wave:

    woke up sneezing this morning - surely it can't be hayfever it is pouring with rain here!!

    so went downstairs to be quiet - oh hates being woken up before alarm!

    so far today i have:
    - made loaf in bm
    - put fruit in to soak for farmhouse tea loaf
    - got haggis out of freezer and chopped veg for dinner tonight
    - cleaned kitchen
    - made oh's lunch
    - used tumble dryer :eek: :eek: (still no heating and pouring with rain so no other option)
    - filled out dvla form
    - started filling out a form for oh

    as oh has hopefully organised mate to look at boiler i am stuck at home at least for this morning so plans for the rest of the day are:
    - check credit card online - done
    - work out how to pay avon for first order - done!
    - e-mail mum to remind her of avon deadline - done
    - stamp some avon order forms
    - do some more baking
    - if it stops raining pick apples - still raining

    oh no :eek: postman has just delivered letter from northern rock - looks like morgage will be going up by at least £150.00 a month in december :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: - help :eek: . had better see if i can get hold of my morgage advisor to see what i can do............

    plumber did not turn up but can't really complain as he is doing me a favour...

    phoned northern rock - does not look good as to get fixed rate will have to do their transfer thingy to lloyds - which will mean they will credit score me... so that means i could be stuck on standard variable rate with nr until i get sorted out but how am i supposed to do that when paying an extra £150.00 out a month???

    also been on phone to e-on and n power to try and sort out the mess that is my transfer of gas and electric!

    but the good news is i am going for a job trial tomorrow!!! bonus is that if i want to i can work from home too but it is commision based so don't know how much i could earn..

    also, so far have resisted going to shop for milk and used dried skimmed milk powder in my tea - not nice but no cost!

    If you are looking for a remortgage, take martins advice and phone London and county or Charcoal, you will find the numbers on the mortgage/houses purple tab at the top, L& C are fab, I can fully recommend them, their customer service is second to none.

    Hi guys, not done much dfw things today and had to say goodbye to my parents so feeling a bit low, absolutely adore my family, so its very hard when i leave them or vice versus.

    Will be back to starting the thread tomorrow though, as long as Candy doesn't mind me pinching it back!!

    Have been to work today
    Have had a nsd day
    Have pigged out on trifle and a feel good dvd, not dfw but at least it stopped me going to the shop and getting a big bar of choc to comfort me
    -Went on the motorway today, so have had lots of motorway practice
    Picked up two mystery shops
    Sorting out mystery shops for tomorrow

    Will see you all tomorrow, where i'll be back to my usual lovely long lists!

  • Hi all, I avoided the bus and walked home tonight;
    Did a Valued Opinions Survey (now over £10.50 in the account!);
    Checked for pp, but none there;
    Read up some info for my court mediation tomorrow with HBoS;
    And posted my last Ebay sale
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

  • Hello all
    Thinking of sophiesmum and family
    thanks to candy
    hope all goes well bathgatebuyer
    groan at though of having to compete with andans list lol ( actually can't compete so just give in!):rotfl:
    Loki remortgaging is a hassle and the one certain thing is that it will go up this time. I agree with Merlot that L & C are good though so recommend you try them. I've had a prob that ALL my utilities are online now so when they want an original statement it's hard. Have resorted to council tax bill in the end.
    So today I have
    :jmade bread in BM
    :jmade more banana bread
    :jtea from feezer
    :jtaken stuff back to shop for a refund
    :jchecked bank and updated spreadsheets
    :jused voucher when buying petrol

    however...
    :eek: had to buy petrol
    :eek: bought a sandwich as forgot lunch
    :eek: went to shop whilst DS was at football and bought 3 more things than were on my list

    Sure there's more bad things but am blocking them out
    Have a good evening everyone, nice to meet the new people, watch out for candy and andan fighting to start the thread tomorrow lol:rotfl:
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

    No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

    Hi All (again)

    Hopefully I make more sense now (rather than yesterdays post - which was not English, I obviously lose the ability to type til later in the morning).

    Didn't really do anything MS today - I ended up buying my own lunch :mad:, but did go to Boots after work and paid £1.25 on a nail varnish (using £5 voucher) for my SIL's Xmas pressie, or might keep it for myself :rolleyes:.

    Anyhow, take care everyone, and see you all tomorrow (I think that I am too dis organised in the morning to start the thread, so back to you Andan).

    Hugs to Sophiesmum.
