LOL - it is frightening isn't it - nurseries as in rooms not fees!

    SFx

having said that fees ain't cheap either are they. There's a nursery attached to our gym but it costs £190 a week:eek:

We're hoping we'll each get a day a week to work form home to keep the need down to 3 days a week which should be about £120... I'll be pretty much working to pay nursery fees and mortgage for a couple of years...

  • It is tough, I am so very lucky that I work from home, BUT I will be putting little one in nursery one day a week from 6 months more for my sanity than anything else and MR Flowers gets it subsidised through work, so should not be too bad - I hope

Luc My DS3's nursery fees are £195 per week shocking isn't it, I did think that it was because I am in London but it seems there are high fees everywhere.

  • afternoon and hello - eventually!!

munching lunch as I type - mad day really and not enough hours left in it to do everything that has to be done.

    Toto - fab photos!

All the pretty ladies in their dresses - sob..........

That thread is hilarious, for some reason the Michael Jackson one made me laugh the most!

Mad at work today - first week of term and all sorts happening. Stayed an extra half hour to help with some course cancellations, but think tomorrow might be just as mad. At least the time went fast.

Had one of my taster session courses that I was due to teach cancelled which I was expecting so that's one I don't have to plan for. I'm guessing another will fall by the wayside also very soon, but I still have a 3 hour Press Release Writing session, a 3 hour Handling the Media session and a 10 week cooking course to write over the next few days. On top of that I need to gather all the resources, get stuff for activities etc.

I also need to AQA this afternoon as I'm massively behind and doing the teaching preparation work (unpaid) cuts into this time. I have my friend coming round tomorrow night who has been travelling for the last year and I'm going to do some nibbles and stuff to eat so I will be preparing that tomorrow afternoon - trying to cook it all as cheapy as possible as much as possible without buying much in.

As she is coming I need to hoover the hall and living room, give the living rom a quick dust and clean the toilet and bathroom as well as the washing up to do this afternoon and do dinner.

And now I have indigestion from eating my lunch too quick - it's all got stuck on the way down!
