compatible ink cartridges

hi,

have a Canon MP610 and am thinking of acquiring the iP2600, as an economy printer (price). what is the lowdown on Canon compatible inks please, will they go wrong or total my printers? :eek:

Hi Ric, the MP610 has compatibles now available which are chipped and replace the Canon originals quite happily, I get mine from the guys at Stinkink but I would avoid the IP2600, the original cartridges are expensive and you can only get refills for them - and the chip does not reset so you have no on screen information from them

oh gosh - too late - i ordered a IP2600 :-o

what about these inks - they look cheaper than the ones as Stinkink for the 2600?
