Does anyone know if THESE straighteners are any good? I am hoping to use my points on them and mine are a few years old now. Thanks in advance. x

I have just bought these today (with points) for my DD for a xmas box, she had seen a a pair of white straighteners last week in Boots and had asked me to save points for them for her, but when i went in today, these were half price so, couldnt resist the bargain and got these instead...
My own straighteners that i use are babyliss 230 pro and these appear to be the same.......so should imagine they are good.

Do Boots still sell that Bach Rescue Remedy stuff? Does it work? Or is there another product that they sell that is supposed to help calm you and actually works?

The night time Bachs is lovely and defnitely helps you sleep if you're feeling stressed.

I recently went on a flight (haven't flown in a long time because I'm so scared) and on the flight there I was surprisingly calm before hand. (bit different in the air but couldn't do much about it then!) I used combination of Bach and Kalms for about a week before I flew :)
  • Well I'm currently sat at home, nibbling on tortilla chips and slurping Coke Zero, as Mr BTVB has been seriously delayed on his journey back from Ipswich - he missed the first train because his meeting went on late, the second train got cancelled because someone walked up to the train driver just before the driver boarded the train and belted the driver one...then the next train was cancelled as someone had driven a bus into a bridge (!) So I can't drink any of the nice wine in the fridge until I've picked Mr BTVB up from the station.

Am contemplating a lightning quick trip to the retail park Boots afterwards though - Mr BTVB phoned them this afternoon to see if they stock the JK nail files and they said they do, which is news to us as we haven't seen them before! If I do, I'll report back (particularly to anybunny ;)) on stock levels and other JK stuff in store :)

(Posted this twice now - keep forgetting that Mr BTVB has left himself logged in, so keep going and thanking people and trying to make posts as Mr BTVB :D)

I love these straighteners! i have long thick hair and these cut the time i spend straightening (sp) in half! would highly recommend. My mum has GHD's and these and she prefers these as they get her hair straighter!

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
