  • This happened to a lot of HC members, myself included, a few months ago. Problems at Boots end, quelle surprise :rotfl:
The only thing you can do is to keep an eye on the prices you are charged for HC items and double check with the SA that the discount has been applied. You can print off a list of included items at the ACM to keep with you.
Also, the pharmacy SA's have a barcode on a card that they can scan if your discount doesn't go through automatically, this will take off the 50%. mines said she could only do this one time only / once per card

and i find a few times this has happend too me that assistsant hasn't pressed the button on till ...have to keep reminding them it should be half price ( only in my local store somehow ) tried other stores and it automatically come up half price ...also got told once my chip was damagd

Mimi when you taking me bootsing lol, I need someone to carry my bags lol x

I know it's the bloke that tends to carry the bags, but on this occasion, you will have to. When I go BOOTSing, I buy lots. You can carry them around for me. If not, I will pout! *** Just been to the Batley store, they don't do TS. What a shame!

    Morning peeps.

Just a word to the wise for anyone who has removed themselves from the Parenting Club through boots.com.

A friend of mine did this several weeks ago, tragically her baby was stillborn. Rather distressingly for her Boots were still sending her PC mailings. She has just looked again online and it appears she is still a member of the PC. She's just unsubcribed again, I can only imagine this must be a glitch that occurred when account data was being transferred to the new .com site, one of several c**k ups judging by the problems others are experiencing with their accounts on the new site.

If you have removed yourself from the PC for whatever reason then please check that your info is up to date on .com or through the Extra Offers kiosk. It would be very hard for you to prove that you had unsubscribed on the old site if MrB accuses you of fraudulently still being a member in the future.

Maybe MrB should be keeping his own house in order before randomly punishing members of the AC scheme, as seems to be happening recently. Really, this is starting to to look like a real mess, members having their AC cards withdrawn, wrong data on the system, over 60's HC discounts added to young members accounts; what's going on MrB?

Thanks for this....I did sign up a while ago, changed my mind about it and unsubscribed. Sure enough though I was on the new Boots.com as a member. So I've unsubscribed again. Very glad I checked!
    Val.

Glad news was good, it is sometimes difficult to see. There is always room for an extra bit of pink.
Was in Merry Hill last Thursday and all the toys were still full price, nothing in that store was reduced! Never been to Stourbridge, so don't know about there. x
  • Is there anything else in store that's giving bonus points, does anyone know? Apart from the JK range?

    Thank you :)
    I think you can buy 2 x benefit sharpeners @ £2.50 each to get 500 points :)
