I'm not a writer, but my children love Barfoot Books!
They're a small publisher of innovative and beautifully crafted artistic children's' story books, many of which have won national awards. They might be able to help you get published.0 -

(or living) i have always fancied writing a fairy tale style story for my children which could include them in it. something that they could treasure and keep to read to there own children oneday. i would love to here from anyone who does write or has an interest. x
Give it a try! Writing can be fun. Everyone has their own way of doing it: mine is to map out most of the story in my head first and even start to "write" the beginning of the story in my head. Only then when the opening has been revised and revised in my head do I write it down.
Once you get going it can be hard to stop. The ideas come tumbling out and you have to keep writing lest those great ideas be forgotten.0
