What level course is it and what qualifications do you have already?
Also, how old are you?
Knowing those things will make it easier for people to answer your question.
Are you due to start the course this year?0 -
yes it would help lol
I'm 30 and doing 5 modules resulting in a diploma if i pass fingers crossed i started today.
I have level 1, 2, 3, in maths and english higher eduction also Ecdl extra i did want to do a HNC course but apparently i didnt have enough to get on it0 -
I'm not sure I understand your qualifications.
Are you in Scotland?
But my initial thoughts are you can't get free tuition and/or the ALG.
Have you asked at the college?0 -
As has been said - it's difficult - Clait isn't normally full-time and I think you may have to be full-time to qualify - but I work in a Further Ed college and they have a Student Services department for all queries on support (financial and otherwise) so I should think your college must have something like that - go and see them and ask if there's anything you are entitled to - the ALG (Adult Learning Grant) is, I think for people who haven't got a Level 2 qualification - and are full-time, so I don't believe you would qualify for that.Hi

It's hard, I know, when you're trying to improve your job prospects and carry on working, most help seems to be aimed at those who are not working at all. Keep going though, it'll be worth it in the end (and keep asking for help - you never know someone may just come up with something!)0
