help with changes in circumstances

Our circumstances change this week in that my eldest dd goes to school.
I still have childcare costs for both and need to advise the helpline of my new costs.
In the Do I Qualify calculator the figure brought up is fine and says it's payable from now till April, but what I've already been paid does that get taken off this figure? Or is that what I was entitled too so I just carry on but on a lower amount?
Just want to be clear on what I may or may not be getting
Thanks Sarah x
