Free shredder from BT

I just called BT to tell them I'd like to go back to paying them for calls (instead of JustDial).....and they said that as a thank you for returning to BT they'd send me a free shredder.

I only want to go back to BT so I can get a free trial of BT Together option 2 before switching again and bagging 2,000 Tesco Clubcard points (& £25 from quidco.com)

Not sure on any details of the shredder but they guy thought it was the usual A4 type worth about £12-15. Bonus!

0808 100 4041 is the number for BT if you have CPS and want to go back.

    BT Together Option 2 - http://www.hotukdeals.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=11167&highlight=bt

    Tesco 2,000 points - http://www.loyalty-points.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=77

    £25 quidco - http://www.quidco.com/content/view/1453/83/

The clubcard points is an exclusive offer for Tesco credit card holders......so I may not get that as I don;t have one.

Also not absolutely sure I'll get £25 from quidco but you can but try ;)

Can't find anything on BT's website about the Option 2 free for three months, nor the shredder.

I'm on TalkTalk at the moment but their calls are due to expire soon so would like to switch by end of year (3 weeks!).
    That, is an excellent question...

Martin's recently updated home phones article names 2 CPS providers currently offering free evening and weekend UK 01/02 calls.

Since then, there have been reports on MSE that JD were not answering e-mails. That may reduce the choice (it did for me).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Yep - the 3 month trial ended on the 10th - sorry you missed it. I did it on my account and once I'd confirmed I was on Together option 2 I knocked it back down to option 1 online and netted a £18 credit :)

My dad hasn't had his shredder yet though. strange.
