I might have a need to buy some shares in the next few days, can anyone recommend the best (cheapest) way to do this. I used to have an account with Comdirect, they seem to have changed to Squaregain now and I can't remember my Comdirect login details anyway

I know hoodless brennan are quite reasonable. £7 per deal.:rotfl:  _party_ :grouphug: Laughing all the way...:EasterBun :kisses3:0

I use https://www.iii.co.uk. It costs £10 per deal which is £3 more than Hoodless Brannan but unlike HB you don't have to deposit £1000 (I think that's the amount) into your account before you can trade on it0

And for those who are not in a hurry to buy shares, take a look at my offer of joining Squaredeal

I use Hoodless Brannan. They charge £7.00 per trade BUT free in the first month of opening an account. You need to desposit funds into the account before dealing and the min transfer via debit card is £50. I note someone said about £1000 but I joined last Saturday and there was no mention of this. Also accepted me online within 10 minutes.
Hope its a winner!0
