Does any one remember if brittania had a 6.8% fixed rate isa offer on or around 20th -23rd july this year?
I am sure I saw that on their website and yet, since 23rd july visit to their branch, all I am given for my transfer isas is 6.3% fixed.
Unfortunately I never printed the info at all and I can't find it anywhere in their closed accounts.
And furthermore they have not used the 23rd july as the date of opening, which doesn't seem right, or am I muddled in the head?

I don't know about the offer you mention but, these fixed rate offers only last as long as necessary to get the funding the BS need. Presumably when the money came from you previous provider the offer was closed and the money was put into the current offer.0

But if this rate had been on offer, wouldn't it show up in their list of Accounts No Longer Available?I don't know about the offer you mention but, these fixed rate offers only last as long as necessary to get the funding the BS need. No because they presumably still have a Fixed Rate ISA offer ... a different one.0

It is possible as they close them so quickly but I doubt it. I got the 6.55 ISA last November which was one of the best and since before they closed it after a couple of days. This last one of 6.3 which I just managed to scrape in has been round relatively long for them - since July.0 -
