Won A Competition On Internet Not Sure If A Scam Please Help Need Quick Reply

I received a phone call from a company today called PDB Orlando saying that i had filled out a form on the internet where you enter all them competitions they said i had won a competiton and i could choose a 7 day holiday worth 1.500 pounds to either spain,portugal or the canaries i could book the holiday anytime 18 months from now flights and accommodation would be paid for all i would need to do is ring a free phone number today quoteing a winning code they have given me and they would send me confirmation and then i would just have to attend a place near me with confirmation of who i am and they would give me vouchers just for attending the competiton i entered was for plc resort and hotels the only thing they said i would have to pay out is 29.50 admin charge but they didnt say when i would have to pay that can anybody give me any advice on this whether they think its a scam or not

Scam {yes and no} More yes than no I would say, just look at it this way "if it sounds too good it is" I think you will find that it is a "timeshare" with ALL THE HARD SELL.
Think back, What comps have you entered?? and Why the £29.50 admin charge??. There will be some people that will go for it and because of that the company will end up making a LOT of money either by the hard sell or just through the payment of admin fees.
If I were you I would let it go, I don't think you would want the hassel:cheesy:

Thanks for quick replys guys london 50 i have been to these timeshare things and i know they are really good at the hard sell but ive manged to say no and walk out of these so im used to that part of it but if i get a free holiday out them maybe its worth it i do remember before i went on holiday actually entering in quite a few competitons cant remeber name of site tho so dont you think its worth ringing and seeing what confirmation they send out thanx again

When did you ever hear those words on a TV programme or Radio show when some one has Just WON a holiday ?

'Yess Julie - The Price is Right! - you have won a 14 days all expences paid holiday to Florida.... all you have to pay is £29.50 admin charge, and attend a long time-share sales pitch in Manchester!'
