It was in a jiffy bag, with no letter!!!!
Now yes I wrote to an address I found for the Victoria and David Beckham Charitable Trust. But do I just presume this has been sent on their behalf, or has it just been sent by someone who already had it, saw newpaper report asking for auction items.
I cannot find a telephone number to ring anyone and ask?
The thing is, how do I prove it is a valid autograph?
Any help, much appreciated.
Thanks

I very much doubt if it is a genuine autograph.
Most are signed by other people on their behalfOwing on CC £00.00 :j

Well looking at the post mark, it has come from EN7 - which when you google this with Victoria Beckham, her parents live in this postcode and I think they deal with the requests for the Charitable trust - too much of a coincidence I think.
Will have to write a letter as I cannot find any telephone number for the address I wrote to in the first place, thanks anyway.0 -
Just had a reply back and yes the book has been sent from Victoria's mum.
Now need to decide how to auction it???
Thanks0 -
Anyone have any suggestions please?0

It will be a problem auctioning it without any certificate of authenticity, I'm not really sure what to suggest. However if you have a letter from MUM saying it was her that sent it then add that to the auction as that should do as a COA.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You can do it via eBay and either choose THEIR Charity option, where you can donate anything from 10% to 100% to charity, or instead of accepting payment via Paypal, you can refer the buyer to a Justgiving page (which are quick, easy and free to set up) and once you can see payment in that account, send them the book. Hi, I did look on Ebay, not much happening with VB books.
I can't use Just Giving as we are not a registered charity, and we cannot be a registered charity as we are only raising for an individual.
I know of 2 people who would like the book - friend of a friend, may have to let them bid for it as give it to the highest bidder.
Thanks for the help though.0
