Just turned 18... Why am I rejected for credit?

Credit cards are very dangerous! But still get one and you will learn!
I am 18 myself and have three.
On my birthday i got a barclaycard inital 260 limit.
Then a lloyds platinum 1000 limit
and an Egg card 500.

Although i have lived at my address for a number of year and have been on the ER for about a year now.

Always go to your bank, aslong as you have been with them for a while and they should sort you out. As you can see they did indeed give me the platinum card because they can view my income history clearly. they also can look at how you manage your acount hopefully you have done well.

My advice is, don't get a credit card. I am now 800 pounds in debt. This is mainly bailing out my mother, but still don't get one unless you really are a penny pincher!

I am now happy with what i have and should build up a nice rating.

100 searches! My god thats bad, stay clear from any searches for a year minimum!
