Can anyone help when i boot my computer i sometimes get a white screen
Could it be a faulty monitor if i leave computer for a while every thing clears to normal

Does "wiggling" the vga cable help? If so - get a new vga cable. Also ensure you dont have any big magnets near the screen, e.g. speakers.
