Problems with Kaupthing Edge

Hello everyone.
I've recently opened a Kaupthing Edge savings account, which currently has just a little over £100 in it, just so that I can perform a few low-value test transactions on it, before moving the rest of my money into it.
But I can't figure out how to edit or delete transactions that are scheduled for the future!
I've tried making a £1 withdrawal scheduled for next week, and this has already reduced my available balance by £1. However, when you click on "transfer", it only seems to ask about setting up another transfer, rather than edit the ones already scheduled.
Also, future scheduled transactions don't show up in the transaction list that's listed in reverse order, even if you go by date range and amend the end date to a future date.
Am I missing something obvious here? Perhaps it isn't actually possible to schedule more than one transaction for the future, meaning that if you schedule another transaction, it overwrites the one that's already there. I don't know - I haven't tried it yet.
Or is it simply not possible to amend scheduled transactions?
If it's not possible, then I'm clearly going to have to look elsewhere, because I really can't be doing with that lack of flexibility. Thanks.

I know it's only been an hour and a half - but, still, is no-one else having the same problem?
If so, please could someone let me know how you're all doing it? Thanks.

I don't think you can delete or amend future transactions online. I imagine you could by telephone or perhaps by secure message.
There is sometimes a delay between arranging a withdrawal and it showing under forward transactions.
You can have multiple transactions scheduled.Do Something Amazing - Give Blood0 -
Aha - maybe that delay will be the cause of the problem.
Thanks for that but can I ask, where are you seeing forward transactions? I can't even see the menu option you're supposed to select to see them. Is it "transactions"? Or is it "transfer"? Or is it something else? And if you don't see them straight away, where do you go from there? Thanks. There is sometimes a delay between arranging a withdrawal and it showing under forward transactions.

You can delete future transactions. On the main account screen, you get a summary of what's in the account, underneath you get any fixed rate bonds you have, and under that any future dated payments, and the opportunity to delete them. I haven't got any going at the moment, else I'd check, but I do use them about once a month, and have been able to cancel one and resend the correct amount!Target Cash Net Worth: £25K by January 2012

Thank you ever so much, that has been so helpful! :beer:You can delete future transactions. On the main account screen, you get a summary of what's in the account, underneath you get any fixed rate bonds you have, and under that any future dated payments, and the opportunity to delete them.
I simply didn't scroll down far enough to see it!
I notice that you can't amend the amount or the date of an existing transaction, but hey, that's no big, you can always delete it and then create another one.
Thanks again.

Oh - and going back to what marshall says, now that I know where to look to find the list of scheduled transactions, I'm finding that there's no noticeable delay between setting them up and seeing them on the list.
Once you have clicked "Continue" then "Confirm" on the "Transfer" screen, you can then click "Accounts" in the left-hand menu, and the transaction you've just created already shows up - at least whenever I do it anyway.
Fantastic! Thanks again. :j

What makes it more difficult to describe is that the screens you see seem to vary based on when you joined. My forward transactions are never listed on the front page and can only been seen under "Statement" and cannot be cancelled.Do Something Amazing - Give Blood0

Oh my, that would be a pain! What makes it more difficult to describe is that the screens you see seem to vary based on when you joined. My forward transactions are never listed on the front page and can only been seen under "Statement" and cannot be cancelled.
We are definitely talking about the same kind of account here, aren't we? We're talking about Kaupthing Edge High-Interest Savings Accounts, aren't we?
That said, would I be right in thinking that if you also picked up one of their fixed-term bonds, you'd still have the same login for both the savings account and the bond? That is, you wouldn't have two separate logins, one for the savings account, and another one for the bond?
And assuming the logins are per customer rather than per account, presumably there aren't any other options after you log in, where you can change your UI "look and feel" somehow? - for example, to have things in a different colour?
And maybe it depends on what browser you're using too.
I must admit, the message about changing the login procedures worries me. I don't want them to keep chopping and changing the controls on the account interface more than really necessary.
Thanks for the post.
