My wife has some shares in Alliance & Leicester but is not interested in having Santander ones. When would be the best time to sell, before the takeover or after? Also, what is the process for doing this?
Thanks in advance.

No, they were windfall shares. Does this make a difference?Andyfr0 -
How the shares are held makes a difference to how they may be sold.
You can sell them through A&L's own service, here.0 -
Thanks for that!Andyfr0
