Hi guys

I know ive been here a few times in regards to my website but was looking for a bit of advice, my website located here Glossop Community Site has news articles from an RSS feed on the home page. Looking through my analysis on Google Analytics im finding quite a few of my visitors are clicking these links and not coming back to the site.

Anyway I wanted some suggestions on the basis if i take the headlines section out of my home page what could i put in their to fill the gap? I dont really know? Any ideas welcome?

Im not sure, but on first glance it looks like google adverts, not a headlines section.

Mabey change the colour or do something to it.

My personal opinion anyway.

Good point, i didnt think that it looked like google adverts.

I thought the colours looked in line with the website feel. My widget for the RSS feed doesnt give me much room for customisation.

I was thinking about putting 2 columns, leaving 1 for the news feed, because i feel local headlines are important but im unsure what to put in the second column? I was thinking more about latest website updates?

What do you think?

Ive changed this now....if you take a look at my site now i have added a small section next to headlines?! Suggestions anyone?
