Just applied for one online, and they said "sorry we need more time, We are working on your application but a decision cannot be reached at this time". Has anybody ever had this said to them and actually got the card??? Or is this the usual "NO" message???.

I got the same message with my Barclaycard Initial, and I got sent the card 2 weeks later with a £2,000 limit. In fact, every single card I've ever been accepted for (about 5 I think) I have received such a message and had to wait for a decision in the post.
Don't fret!You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
I had the same with a recent Amex application.
If you are concerned you should check if are you on the electoral register? Have you checked your credit file as that can show up potential issues.0
