Are you sure they are the one's you sent?
Have they bought any others for a cheaper price?
They may have used them and no longer need them and have concocted the story that they broke.
There are people out there who buy things just to send back after they have finished with them I.E. Buy a dress wear for a night out wash it and then return as it apparently doesn't fit.
Sorry no helpful advice on what to do next but things to think about with this buyer.

they've not bought any others. i have no reason to think they are not the ones i sent.

they did mention about them being for a holiday. so they have obviously been used, broken and attempting to return for a refund now they are no longer needed, and would also be why no replacement required.

Well she would have 7 days to return them under distance selling regulations, so she can't do that after 3 weeks.

If she's claiming they're faulty, she's entitled to a replacement or repair. Can they be repaired?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

she wanted to return them as faulty, i said they would need to be inspected. she obviously didn't want them inspected as its obvious she broke them so she then said she wanted to reject them as not fit for purpose.

i repaired one of them, but she 'lost' the clip that would repair the other one. so can't repair the other without a clip.

i can replace them (don't see why i should though, as she will probably just break them again!) but she doesn't want a replacement. she says because she doesn't trust them to not break again, but i also know she bought them for a holiday originally, so obviously not needed now.
