• :hello: to all you newbies, and welcome. (I can't get all the fancy smilies to work  - I've tried copy and paste, but it won't play nicely!))

Me too!

And I love stationery, so since my college courses start tomorrow, can I go and buy nice new files and stuff?
:cheesy:

Just hope I feel a bit better by then - I've got the man flu too! Steadily got worse as the day's gone on, but working from home tomorrow. The home I should be in has put all my candidates in on training courses morning and afternoon - the only day in 14 that they could possibly do it, of course, so now I have to wait for 2 whole weeks before I see them again!

Anyway, I didn't post a list but today I've cleaned my oven and dishwasher, a shelf, the spice rack (washing all the jars), washed down that wall of the kitchen and tested the carbon monoxide detector - all while I was making dinner, wiped down cupboard and appliance fronts when I cleared up (DH usually does that but had to go and try uniforms on for Sandhurst). I did all my dailies this morning, so SS bathroom/shower room, kitchen, no washing or drying to be done, breadmaker and coffee maker put on, cats, dogs and fish fed, dogs walked and brushed, so not too bad a day, all things considered. And DH cut the front lawn while I was making dinner as we've had two dry days! :j More rain forecast tomorrow though -
Triker - so sorry about roof, and car "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits!"

I hope everyone starting new jobs, courses etc had a good day.

OK, I give up with the Thanks button coz it's taking so long! Suffice to say I'm just scanning through to keep up with you chatterboxes and I've only got to page 6! If I've missed anything, I'm sorry. Hugs to anyone who needs one, but I'm off to bed. Night all! x
