All day parking leeds

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me, im a 2nd year ODP student at leeds and am having to drive from manchester and i am wanting to know if there are any cheap all day parking areas?....i am not bothered if it is a long walk

I recommend catching the train. Trains are regular between Manchester and Leeds and definitely quicker than driving at rush hour, then there's a free bus outside the train station that takes you up to the University - or it's not that much of a walk really. I think you'll find driving between Manchester and Leeds tiresome. Have you considered renting a place in Leeds? It may be more cost effective.

As for free parking, get there soon enough (not sure how early, probably 6-7am, but that way you'd avoid the traffic too and have a few hours to find breakfast and be studious ) and you'll probably get a space around here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=university+of+leeds&sll=53.798256,-1.522683&sspn=0.006704,0.006566&ie=UTF8&ll=53.807079,-1.558573&spn=0.003351,0.003283&t=h&z=18 or on Clarendon Road next to the University for free. You may end up blocked in though with a high risk of dings.

As for cheap parking if you drive around long enough you'll find big "ALL DAY PARKING ONLY £x.00" signs. There's some not far from the train station and I think there are one or two not far from the University around Regent Street.
