Hi,
I have just purchased a new laptop and want to know how to transfer all my files,emails, etc from my old laptop to my new laptop..
Does anyone know what to do..
Both systems run on Vista.

Simple ways are if they are less than 10MB files then email them to yourself or if you have a wireless router or a router with more than 1 ethernet connection then send them over your network.Always looking for a bargain and to help0

You could burn them to CD/DVD then you would have a permanent back up of them, and then just put em on the new one. another good way of shifting files quick is to use a USB pen drive. just plug it in. copy the files onto it - then shut the pen drive down (use the safely remove hardware icon which pops up in the bottom toolbar). then plug it into the other laptop and drag the files outDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
