Student house, Swalec, help!

Hello! I have no idea about gas/electricity, tarrifs, rates, anything, i'm a complete beginner when it comes to this grown up stuff! But I'm the only one in my student house at the moment who is interested in sorting our bills for next year, so here I am!

We were with swalec for gas/electricity for last year, paying quarterly by cash. We went on a pre-payment meter over the summer, as 2 of the housemates continued to live there over the summer. We, (well, I do anyway), want to get rid of the meter now that we're moving back at the end of month, as it will be horrendously expensive! It's enough hassle doing this, and is going to take a while, so when we finally manage to switch from the pre-payment meter, I'd really rather not have to change suppliers then, would rather just stick with Swalec!

So, i'm looking around at the tarrif's etc and I don't know which to go on. Can anyone give any advice? For a house of 7 girls, (that's a high usage!)? I was looking at fixed rate 2010, but we're only there until June 09, so would have to pay the fee for getting out, which is up to £100. Not too much between 7 of us, but don't want to go on this tarrif and have to pay that if it's not the best for us :]

Sorry for rambling, advice needed greatly!

Thank you :)
