you're as bad as any fundamentalist, i read your post on the free books thread
that's just your opinion and you're entitled to it. you should show a little more tollerence and respect for other people's beliefs though, whether you agree with them or not.
Talk to the muslim terrorists about tolerance. talk to the religious factions in Ireland about tolerance. talk to any of the maniacs who believe in myth and legends as an excuse to commit crimes against humanity.
This is a moneysaving site and fanatical creationists etc have no place here. Please dont troll on about this nonsense - there are many more relevant subjects of interest.
Keep trying.........................what else is there to do?

Intolerance is usually based on ignorance. Thanks OP!!!!
As a final note on this yawn making subject; it is to be hoped that the dumbed down education system also includes an opportunity for atheist views to be presented for consideration.
That would be a sign of tolerance.

I'm at 6th form college at the moment, and very worried about the proposed views that might end up with creationism being taught in the science rooms -- and I don't even do science. Religion should stay away from science lessons at all times, unless it is for examples of logical fallacies and general fallacious thinking, such as that shown by creationists and Intelligent Design proponents. And guess who these guys are...
[SIZE=-1]The Project, which was funded by the Templeton Foundation...

The Templeton Foundation is an organisation devoted to placing religious propaganda into the science classroom.
This should not be allowed in the Martin Lewis forums in any way. Please. I have to deal with enough of my friends who deny the simple fact of evolution -- they know it to be true, in the face of overwhelming evidence, yet they choose to believe some words from Genesis, which most religious leaders say was a parable anyway and didn't happen. It's sad.
Just my two cents, and ohmygod I've turned American.
Chris
PS: Religious Education is not meant to be giving "evidence" for that viewpoint, not that there is any, it is meant to be unbiased education. And Humanism isn't a religion, either

Lots of freebies, and some successful complaints
Thanks people.0 -
Thanks for this, Lorweld. You do find some great freebies. Bit worried by the venomous responses by some people to this post though. Believe it or not, most religious believers are perfectly normal people who wouldn't dream of committing violent acts. It's all very well pointing fingers at religious fanatics but there have been many atrocities and many more millions of people killed by those who do not espouse religious belief, eg. Hitler, Stalin, etc.
Anyway, thanks again for the post, I'm sure it will be useful.0 -
Has anyone got theirs yet? I was looking forward to this.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
