trust me, i learned the hard way (on my bosses car when i was an apprentice!)
and always mark it,dont guess the holes,a squint number plate looks terrible.
Plus some masking tape over where the holes are to be drilled minimises the risk of the drill bit slipping and makes it easier to mark the position.0
