Running cost will make up for the early gain!0

I've used Refresh Cartridges for some time and have always found them good so I checked for this printer:
Compatible black cartridge: £10.49
Compatible colour cartridge: £12.49
Plus they get cheaper if buy in 3s or 6s.

Just collected one from PC World using Amazon as price match (it's slightly more expensive today!).
Subsequently I've found that ebuyer is selling the printer for £31.99 - £5 less than amazon (don't know about postage costs, but a bargain if PC World will price-match that).

PC World are selling it for £49.99 & supposedly discount by the full difference + 10% which should make it £15.19 after cash back if I've done my sums correctly :j0 -

Also, on the question of USB cables, how are they 10p? Do the prices change very quickly on Amazon? Sorry if my questions seem a bit thick, as I'm relatively new to Internet shopping and have much to read and catch up on.
In any case, those USB cables at 10p (cheapest right now seems to be 20p!) have these shipping charges of around £2.98 or so so it isn't that big a deal.
Though you can buy both the MP210 printer and that cable for a total of £38.57. Is it a good idea to buy these together? Will this still be eligible for the £15 cashback?0 -
Now that I'm looking at my Amazon checkout, the printer AND the USB cable come out to £32.82 exc. VAT. It is £38.57 inc. VAT (£5.75).
Without the USB cable, it is £31.30 exc. VAT, and £36.78 inc. VAT (£5.48).
Using the free supersaver delivery of course.
But whether you get it with or without the USB cable, are both options eligible for the cashback?
And I haven't seen this question answered, but I take it that this printer is compatible with Windows Vista?0 -

So even if you print it using b/w you're still needlessly colouring in white paper with your precious ink. Look, here's the form so you know what I'm going on about...

I have managed to convert the pdf to word online, however I can only get to print in a5 size. I'm still sending it though, shouldn't be a problem unless they are really being nitpicky. Hope you can see the amended file in the below link......
Just click anywhere on the red and hit delete, then copy the Canon picture from page 2, insert it at the bottom of page one. highlight all text on page 1 and change font colour to black. Voila! Any probs PM me!!

Can anyone work out what/where the product serial number is????0

I bought a Canon MP160 printer/scanner/pcopier 1 year ago on amazon for
£35 (didn't know about cash back websites back then!). Bit shocked 6 months later at the cost of buying new cartridges when they ran out.
Looked around and the cheapest refills i found are done by Cartridge World -
£7.50 for black, and £9 for colour...ink as good as the original...no trouble since... was told by the nice man in the shop they can refill most printer cartridges!! :j

did look in poundland & home bargains as someone else suggested, but they only carry cartridges of really old, discontinued printer models  ...0 -

- Pull down the front flap.
- Then lift up the top section, scanner and all, from just below the Canon logo.
- Prop it up using the thingy.
- The serial number can be found on the right hand side, behind that wide strip of gray/white cable. It's flexible so just push it aside to see behind it.

On the box mine came in, there's a sticker on the side which has something called a 'body number' which starts JJXA and then a series of numbers. Isn't that the same as the serial number??0
