Default new window size in IE?

I'm sorry, but this is driving me nuts

Every time I open a link in a new window in IE, the new window opens in a size that all but fills the screen.... I'm probably being really anal here, but it's driving me crazy. I use a shared works computer, and last week the new browser windows I opened were really tiny, and this week they're huge...

how can I make them open in a nice medium size!!!??? (about half screen size..)

please please help (if only for my sanity!!) :D

cheers

AG

this question is usually the other way round (how do i make the window full screen) :)

open a new ie window - use the mouse to drag the window (use the corners) to the size you want it to be and then close the window with the x. that should then be the size that new ie windows open at.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking! I can't stand my IE window being anything but maximised!! There's an easy fix for that one.

Post 6 is the best option as it lets you take control..
