Working from home - GAS or Electricity?

Hi
I recently changed jobs which means I am, for a good part of the day, working from home. This has saved about £200 a month in reduced petrol costs, so I can't grumble. Anyway, the recent cooler weather has got me thinking about heating during the winter. We have gas central heating that is normally on (in the winter) for an hour in the morning and about 4 hours in the evening. My 'home office' is currently the dining room table which is open plan to the living room, so quite a big space to heat. I was wondering which might be cheaper... running the central heating or investing in some electric heater, say an oil filled radiator.
I'm not sure what the exact costs are of running each, so any advice would be much appreciated
Many Thanks
