Primus - Anyone seen a bill recently?

Watch Primus as they will bill 'whenever' but they also have a habit of changing your call charges/tariff without telling you. They did that to us and it took ages to find out what was going on. Their customer service is 'polite' but totally useless.
My mother has had her line stopped by them, then had her account transferred back to BT without her knowledge/agreement (will have to get onto the BT rep about that) and now had dept collectors- sent by Primus- phoning her for a bill she doesn't owe. They should come off any list of recommendation. Regardless of price- the pain and time wasted is really not worth it.
Check your bills (when you can!) and make sure you are being charged for calls correctly. We were not told that they had changed our free weekend calls from 90mins to 30mins and week eve calls from 90 to 60mins. It's amazing how 3p per min (+VAT) soon mounts up.0 -
A year on and the same delay in sending bills is happening. I haven't had one since mid-June (2009) despite me reminding them by email twice now.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Guys, I'm curious.
Primus only seem to sell two LR+Calls packages now (Saver & Saver Max) and their call costs are higher than BT for mobiles & 0845/0870. Even international is cheaper on BT if you pay them £1pm. And their packages are cheaper if bought via a third party comparison site!
In the absence of a time sensitive dialer who would you use for calls these days? My analysis is saying yourcalls.net or euphony or indeed BT (possibly using CLI if we go mad with mobile or international). With more frequent mobile calls and less 0845/0870 then the alternates win over BT. The problem is guessing what you'll call for the next 12 months... Have I missed something?0 -
My last Primus bill was 18th August.

I'd stick with 18185 for calls to mobiles (6p/minute weekdays, 4p*/minute weekends).

My bills have been on line for quite some time. Same goes for BT line rental bill and Gas/Electricity. I really like Primus.0 -

For 0845/0870 calls, it depends which BT calls plan you're on (you get inclusive 0845/0870 calls at more times the 'better' the plan you're on) but BT is now cheapest even if you have to pay.
