Issue with Google Chrome

I was amazed last night when ickle bruv told me all my passwords. Google Chrome asks if you want passwords to be stored. If you go into 'options\minor tweaks\show saved passwords' it displays a list of sites for which your passwords have been saved. My concern is that there is a button on this screen that displays your passwords for the world to see. This does not seem very secure to me?
Why do I always find men so hard?

well I havent touched Chrome and dont plan on doing so, theres better out there (im a firefox man myself and have been for years).
I have had a quick look around firefox and I cant see a facility like that, and I wouldnt know why you would want one. The initial thought is if you are using a laptop and are quite mobile and it gets stolen, voila all your passwords in one place!!
Nice feature!
Theres a thread about chrome on this section of the forum, and its ups and downs. Although through what I have read it seems to be more downs than ups."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Look harder. Tools->Options->Security->Saved Passwords->Show Passwords0 -
In Google Chrome, to disable the save-password option, click on the little spanner icon on the top right (beside the address bar), select Options, click on the Minor Tweaks tab and select Never save passwords. If you want to view passwords already saved, click on “Show saved passwordsEvery day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0
