Isn't Sam Smith's ultra cheap? I know the one near me is, and it's not bad beer.

Duchy, could we really take our own food into a Wetherspoon's, is that what you mean? How funny! Excellent news, tho, I'm a vegetarian thats lactose and wheat intolerant, tho I can eat them without going into anaphylactic shock or anything :)

Ermmm no I meant that if people had eaten before or after they could still have a drink and join in without it been a "those that eat" and those who don't seperation.
Although there WAS a bloke who used to sneak the sarnies his Mum made him into the George in Croydon when I worked there-and try and eat them on the quiet LOL

That was it, Wetherspoons, I couldnt for the life of me remember the name! Something like that would be perfect (or Sams), because people can either eat or drink, it is cheap, and vouchers can probably be found. A relaxed 'normal' place too.

    How about 25th Oct then?
  • I'll be in Spain at the end of October, but hope you all have a great time. (I'm still recovering from the Leeds meet at the weekend!! :rotfl:)

Does this replace the idea of one in Manchester in Feb?

Certainly is, they keep it cheap by only stocking own brand. I am always amazed at how much change I get back from a tenner when I go to the bar in one.
