Does paying the minimum on your credit card(s) give you a bad credit histroy? I am new to all of this and don't understand how you get a bad credit rating.

No, it just costs you a lot of money. Defaulting/not paying gives you a bad credit history.0

As long as you are making payments on time
Many people get into debt as they don't come under any banks radar by keeping up with minimum payments.
Many banks would prefer these customers as they make them huge profits. Also it shows you can make regular payments.0
