Best satnav for around £100?

I'm looking at the Garmin Nuvi 250 UK 4.3 inch which is widely available for about £100 - £110.

Is this the best buy in this price range?

Or should I be looking at another make/model? I want a widescreen unit.

Hi, would love dearly to be able to buy one for £100 myself. PCPro mag have the TomTom Go720 (superceded by the 730) as their 'A List', but priced at £187 inc. vat. I'm unsure about the Garmin u mention, as it wasn't reviewed in their sat nav tests.:)

www.ebuyer.co.uk have this on offer. What do people think? Or is there something better around the same price?
  • I'm 100% happy with my Becker boght from Halfords last week for £119.
Europe mapping, speed cameras and Trafficmaster live traffic avoidance.

When i was in Halfords the young sales person slated it as an unknown brand, could not use it then admitted they only get trained on TomTom and Navman.

Took it out, set it up and If I was to buy again I would not hesitate. I'm not bothered about changing the voice which apparently wast the best feature of a TomTom
Lets get this straight. Say my house is worth £100K, it drops £20K and I complain but I should not complain when I actually pay £200K via a mortgage:rolleyes:

Thanks everyone. I'm beginning to think that anything costing about £110 - £120 is going to be pretty good?
