Hi all :hello:. Can anyone who hasnt already entered the Zubo competition help out DD. We are doing the promotion/campaign for the new Zubo game which comes out next week. There is a competition running where you can win a copy of the game. We need to get 50 new users entering the competition and I wondered if anyone had a little spare time and could help.

    TIA
    Sarah x

Should have said its a Nintendo DS game.
Finally, I can see you crystal clear

Can I ask a couple of questions please? I discovered this board and started comping a month ago. I've had a few small wins and wonder whether anyone would know whether it makes a difference that i use my hotmail email address, and only put in my mobile phone number? Do you think that it would decrease my chances of winning or do you believe that it doesn't matter?
Thanks in advance for any response. :)

It doesnt matter - I use a hotmail email address and still win quite a bit. I also put both my mobile and landline - but to be honest very very very rarely have had any phonecalls to them from comps:D

I'm trying to work through them this way too (I'm only up to page 17 so far! :o) - there shouldn't be any new ones  but as Al Mac says, the board is dynamic so the time/date of last post often changes making it difficult to keep track of your position AND as the Board guides move threads to Game Over, the rest are shifted up so your page position changes too! To make things easier, I've now picked up the tip (sorry, I can't remember who posted it :o) of subscribing to each thread I've read which adds a little tick to the right of the title in the thread list, making it easy to find where I last left off. It's also worth refreshing the page before moving onto the next one just in case BGs have moved threads while you were working your way through the page. I hope that makes sense. :o

T--J just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, your idea of subscribing (without notification obviously!) each comp i enter has proved much quicker.

For any others, here's how i did it:
    1. In User CP profile, left hand side "Edit Options" part way down 'Default Thread Subscription mode' change dropdown of notification settings to "No notification"
    2. On lefthandside, "Edit Folders" Type new folder name in 1 of lower boxes name this 'Ones to know about' or something similar, this is the folder you'll use for those you want to keep track of or receive alerts for.
    3. Type over the original folder name of 'subscription' to 'Competition Entries'. As this is the original folder, it seems it's the default folder when you use the quick drop-down to subscribe to a thread. SAVE settings.
    4. Now when entering a comp, use the 'thread' drop-down and click subscribe, this will pick up your default settings. This will put a tick by the thread on the forum board, and file it in the Competition Entries folder without clogging up your inbox! :rotfl:
    5. When looking through the competition forum, if you have entered a comp it will be indicated by a tick on the lefthandside meaning you don't have to go into each thread to check.
HOPE THIS HELPS!! Thanks again T--J for the initial idea, from one much happier comper! Sxxx

p.s. I still 'thank' the poster of the competition as without them, we wouldnt have so many competitions :)
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! If helpful please thank me Won 5* holiday,£100,gym,BAFTA vip,£75,tan,soundbar,signed cookbook, tix, duplo, facewash,Bodyshop,Lindt,Prevage,Everiche, disney, dvd, supplements, perfume,Topshop makeup + other prizes :)

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this but I have been entering competitions since August 12th, every day for approx 1 hour and haven't won a thing. Is there a recipe for success or how many do you have to enter to win! Getting very despondent.

No recipe I'm afraid, ecclesto - just persistance.
To be honest, from August isn't really long enough for the wins to have come rolling in yet - some comps have an end date a month in advance, so a lot of the comps you have entered may not have even finished yet.

Just keep at it, it took me a while to get my first win, but now they come quite steadily each month.

    Good luck ;)

PS Ginjim - that's not ALL you do!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok need some help please about Roboform really hoping for some answers. DH a few weeks ago decided to transfer all my data from the PC onto a pen drive, this worked fine for a while but today the pen drive isn't working on either the PC or Lappy. DH has managed to find an old back up on my data on the PC but I'm missing about 100 passwords which were added since the last back up, how can I get these back please???? The pen drive is new & as only been used for this but it was bought about 18 month ago (was still in the packet up until about 3-4 weeks ago!!!)

HUGE thanks in advance, I can't comp without some of these passwords xxxxx
