:mad: Just had a Newsletter from Victoria Sawmills which was obviously from a comp from here because I can see loads of you I recognise on the list of people's emails!!!! :mad:

They have been ranted at by me, some of you may want to rant also!

Hi there, I'm new to this forum so apologies if my question is already answered somewhere else. I wondered how often people spent entering the competitions? For exmaple, 1 hour per day, or 20 per day, that kind of thing.
I'm totally impressed with the list of wins that some people have in their signatures, and I'd like to know what level of dedication is required!?

There is no hard and fast rule of how many comps you should enter a day, do what you feel comfortable with, some compers enter hundreds a day yet others only a handful, it depends what they want out of it.


Have a look through the Comping Guide sticky by VelvetGlove at the top of the board, it contains lots of hints and tips and most of good luck with it all

Phew, finally got through the 30/09 comps, hell of a lot there, although didn't enter them all, just the nice ones

Trying to catch up, but I get a few days ahead of myself and then seem to stall! Need a plan of attack....

i've notice the same, and even when the correct format is pointed out, it's still done incorrectly??
