Do you think it is pointless entering comps from local papers/stations?
There is a laptop comp I might enter but it is provided from a Bristol company. Wonder if they only like local peole to win? (I am in Liverpool)

Enter away, i've won afew prizes from radio stations, Manchester, Newcastle and i think Clyde was one of them :D

I wonder that too sometimes but I think they will honour it if you win, wherever in the UK you're from. BTW, where in Liverpool are you from? I'm from Wavertree/Toxteth.

Just trying to unsubscribe and noticed this on the SKiddle site:

We never share your info with other people. We will not show your address or full name to other users.

They will, however, share your email address with anyone they choose

    I've replied back with a lengthy e-mail :D

Reason being that some plant pot decided to sign up to a site many years ago via a company e-mail addy and same sorta thing happened. E-mail address was bombarded with Spam, Virus attachments and other unwanted e-mails. Virus protection is good nowadays but back then the cheap nasty protection software for the company server was shocking.

More to the point i know many of us use e-mail addresses for comps anyway ;) but still doesn't stop viruses and more spam being delivered to our PC/Laptops.

Arg I am so pee'd off with the duck forum. I've been trying to get into the postcard forum, posted loads and my count is still showing as 3. I was hoping to use that and this forum (I like a bit of both) but loquax is so bloomin' confusing
    Bloody ducks.... grr

Edit: Had a very speedy reply from Jason so understand it all now. Anyone use both forums together?

Well I can see the postcard comps now and if you do them I would definitely say its worth pursuing as there are a few more on there than here. Not had a proper look yet but the peeps seem friendly enough as well.
MSE deffo tops it on all counts but a bit of both wont hurt.
