Sorry to hear that zero, I entered a few days ago and just got the one. I have however, had this happen to me before a good many years ago, I had entered a comp in the morning and I was sent probably over 200 text that day and they finally stopped at midnight, my guess was that something refreshed at midnight or something like that. You do need to keep deleting them or you phone will just fill up and hold all other messages at the message centre. Sorry to not bring any good news.
That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free ;)
  • I want to take my children to the Express Eventing at the Milennium Stadium in Cardiff but it is very pricey through ticket master. There is a "children free offer with an adult ticket" in the Daily Mail but it is not a paper I buy and I am not sure when this offer was put out, but must be recent as it was not on the ticket master website last week. I would be really grateful if anyone can help with the promotional code.

    gripe of the day

why do we activley encourage serial dupers by thanking there posts even though the dupe has been mentioned and it takes 1 second to click through to the op and thank the op?.

I can understand everyone doing the odd dupe but serial dupers dont seem to search at all, and often dont revisit their duped posts, so if a msg to mention the dupe and request for the duper to send a merge is left it will often be ignored.
If they can post dupes they can clean up after themselves and send the merge xxxx itms xxxxx

In an ideal world T they would clean up after themselves - then they would see that posting dups willy nilly is not a simple case of whoops there i go again...., finding the op getting the links and pm'ing all takes time - there have been so many today I feel sorry for the bg's having to merge them all!

but as you say they don't bother revisiting their posts to see what the fuss is about (usually if I post something and see a response I go have a look in case I've made a mistake :o)

  • Please help guys,

Just got a phone call (I only give my number to legit people) to say i have won a holiday for 4 from a survey I did. (I do loads).

I need to call 0800 988 9904 (freephone) with a password and they send confirmation within 2 days. The bloke is calling me back in 10 mins to make sure my claim went through ok.

It is a family of 4 self catering to be taken within 18 months.

DO I CALL?, or is it one of those come to our meeting in London things to sell me a timeshare?

OOPS just read the scams thread. Dont think i will be calling!!
  • just a quick search but there's a page here suggesting its a scam
    http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/08009889904
  • Sounds a bit odd. I did once win a holiday and the company said from the off who they were, which competion I'd won and exactly what I'd won. Your call does make me think it's a time-share but I suppose there's only one way to find out for sure.
  • If they want you to collect your prize in person it's more likely to be a scam
