How to search for comps ending on a certain day with Google......HELP!!
I had the correct wording on my old laptop but cannot find it now - it's something like "E: 30/10" moneysavingforum but not quite that......
You have to get the "'s in the right place to get the list to appear and I am rubbish and cannot get it right
It was posted when the "ending today" threads were going on and a MSE-er posted it but I cannot remember or find it.
BTW I do know how to search on MSE  but sometimes I like an overview with Google, hence my question.
Can anyone help please????October 2008 wins - £250 Red Letter Day, Taken Tshirt, cap & memory stick, Strongbow magnets & glasses, Peroni Bowls & bottle openers, Fogarty duvet & pillow, Horrid Henry book, trip to Disney Paris for 7 and a week of Galaxy car hire, £100 Ocado voucher, Nivea face cream, Ambipure air fresheners, DS game0 -
50+RTFM.
In the guide, here.
Another method you can use for finding comps that end on a particular day is to do a couple of searches using Google or another search engine using each of the following:
"E:01/09" site:moneysavingexpert.com
"E:1/09" site:moneysavingexpert.comto be updated:;)0 -

50+I have been wondering if comps are choosy about who they award their prizes to. For example, if I'm entering a comp from Maxim or FHM am I best putting down Hubby's name (which is what I've been doing)? I just imagine them not wanting to award their prizes to someone who so obviously doesn't fall into their target audience. The same would go for 'womens' comps.
Have any of you ever won on one of these from the 'wrong' gender?0 -
