You know that science experiment they did on Wednesday. I think it created a black hole over my house. I am having such a flippin' stressful day (actually reading back over it me thinks I'm getting myself worked up over nothing...... *deep breathes*happy0045.gif)

Having finished my first week at work I had hoped to have a nice relaxing Saturday, but actually I'm so stressed out it feels like I'm going to explode.brick-wall-017.gifcursing-044.gif

    1) I placed a tesco grocery order last night. I got a call 8:30am this morning saying that my card wouldn't go through. I use a prepay Quidity maestro card. Because of the way the stupid Tesco online checkout system works, it doesn't take into account BOGOF's & offers when you checkout initially. Despite having loaded enough on my card to cover the order (even before BOGOF's etc), for whatever reason it wasn't going through. I then had to get dressed, get my reluctant dd dressed and hot foot it up to the nearest paypoint to add on some extra cash to cover this order.

    2) Last night I put some money on my gas meter card - put it in the meter and the meter screen wasn't working - I checked a couple hours later and it was still broke. It did this a couple weeks ago too. It was after 8pm so I couldn't do anything about it 'til this morning. I called this morning and they arranged for an engineer. I decided to go and check to see if it was working....:T it was now....ashamed0005.gif so I called to cancel the appointment...and it turns out they couldn't find it on their system so the engineer may still come out. They reassured me I won't be charged though. *phew*

    3) My ex was due to see the kids this afternoon. He phoned this morning to say he'd had a row with his girlfriend and wouldn't be able to come to see them until early evening instead.sad0013.gif It's good to see his girlfriend is more important than his own kids rolleye0011.gif ...that must make the kids feel great (this is probably the reason they have been acting up all morning and contributing to my increasing stress levels)!

One piece of very good news.....................

    I've got a Wii Fit..........
My sister works at Asda and phoned to say her store had some in. I called and they have put one back for my sister to collect later. The added bonus is that as she gets staff discount I'll get 10% off. Very MSE!! party0001.gif party0004.gif party0049.gif

Thanks toniq!! I'm making a mountain out of a molehill anyway!! I feel better having written it all down. happy0005.gif

The stupid thing with my ex is that apparently part of his argument with his gf was because he doesn't see the kids as often as he'd like....(currently about once a month)....yet this argument has now meant he'll see even less of the kids today. What's that all about???? confused0007.gifconfused0082.gif

I don't know when I'll get my Wii Fit as my sister lives over an hour away and is working most days....(unless I can convince her or my parents to deliver it tomorrow)!!!!

It aint worth stressing about ex, cos he is an ex for a reason!, he has let them down not u, it hurts if kids are let down, he will have to explain himself to them, evan aint seen his dad for 10 years, and he knows its down to his dads madcap life, thankfully he has paul as a stepdad and is happy enough xxxx
Beg your parents!!!!! lmao!!! u need it now!!!! xxxx i need to go sainsburys i so dont want to go out xxxxx

My ex is definitely an ex for a reason (lots actually)!!! LOL They were looking forward to seeing him. Since he's phoned to change the times, they've started misbehaving. I'm sure this is because they're irritated that they've been messed around/let down and as they're only kids the only way they can express their irritation is through their behaviour. Then I'm left to pick up the pieces and bear the brunt of the behaviour.

I love the term madcap - that sums up my ex perfectly and has made me smile, thanks!

Have fun in Sainsburys - don't forget to get your nectar points!
