Afternoon all, just back from Asda with me chickens, had to hunt them out not very easily to spot them on shelf, had to scrape the car this morning, don't like cold weather, have caught dd's cold, so heater is now on.
Hope all well, my Mil is called Mrs Bucket, or the dragon by grandkids, nothing I do is right, so know how you feel.

Rcb, try andrews or alka seltzer/eno, benhams mine is so up herself, she has a very large 5 bed house for her and pauls dad so looks at us as paupers, she has never approved of me , im convinced its my colour, but paul says she loves me really? yeah right!, xmas last year bath salts and johnsons skin glow for pale skin, ( im half and half ) she always goes on about how weird my parents eat normal food along side their "traditional" food, i could swing for her, but dont! xxxxx im sure it winds her up thaty paul is so happily settled with me and evan! xxxxx i just went to pets at home and paul shook his head and called me nuts because i got a doggy advent and xmas stocking oh and the obligatory squeeky chicken! xxxxx lol.im cooking roast chicken dinner tomorro, thatll mess with her head as she will prob expect me to make a curry xxxx

Sorry to hear about your troubles with your Mother Out-Law - as long as Paul loves you, that's what matters.
She's just sore cos he loves you so much!!

My Mum in law is an alcoholic so we have had to put up with real nastiness over the years (although, when she is not drunk she is a really quiet, lovely woman), but I have had to turn the other cheek for my hubby's sake. (not easy when I see it tearing him apart).

He's due to land at Manchester airport in about 10 mins - wooohoooooo!!!
Another hour and a half after that & he'll be home. Double wooohoooooo!!!

and u nutter drinking till u r sick!...........i stopeed that years back, when i woke up in evans bed fully clothed but soaking wet, id staggered home and got into a bath it seemed, as bathroom was drenched then got into his bed ( he was nans), kinda shocked in morning as i had no memory of anything after my 7th jd xxxx now drink occassionally, just an odd glas of wine, or ill nick a can of cider if paul cracks one xxxxx line ur stomach before u drink tonight! xxxxxx eggs and bacon! mmmmmmmmmmmmmxxxxx
p.s..............why do we all sympathise regarding mil? they get away with way too much because of the destructive power they weild that can rip families apart, we should have a national tell mil as it is day! xxxx

It's wierd - he does go away a lot for our business, but I have missed him so much more this time. Maybe cos he went away for longer.

I know, I'm daft for getting so bladdered - I thought I was older and wiser, but clearly not!!
It was my own fault though - I'd had no dinner - went & played badminton for 2 hrs then went to my brothers house for drinks.
I didn't really drink that much, but cos it was on an empty stomach I really am paying for it!

Mum-in-law tell it like it is day? Good idea - but it would take far longer than a day!!!!!!!!!

Hi toniq sounds like the mil from hell, your doing the best thing by not responding to her comments, that probably annoys her more,. Your better then that don’t go down to her level, it could be your colour or that is she is jealous that her ds loves you or any number of reasons, it doesn’t really matter, she is probably unhappy with her life and wants to inflict it on everyone else, thinking of you
