(I read someone reporting that theirs was hidden under one of the box-flaps, so maybe check the box if you can't find it.)

Ah, just rechecked the box and there it was stuck under the flaps! Thanks very much!! :):)

Right, going to Homebase this avo now to buy a nice little pot for it to go in. :):)

Glad to help - I think having separate instructions with the sapling is a bit confusing. Wouldn't want all those lovely little trees freezing their roots off outside. (Can you tell I'm getting fond of mine? Lol.) :)

Ok next question... how big should the pot be (ie how big will it grow in 6 months), and do I need to put the tube on it while it's inside or is that just to protect it once it gets outside? If it only needs a little pot I've got one here and can do it now!

You can tell I really don't know what I'm doing but I'm so excited to be growing a tree!!

Erm...I don't know about the right pot size, sorry - it's just in whatever I had in (my pot's about 6 inches in diameter at the widest bit, if that's any help). I think the tube's for when it goes outside - I'm planning to follow the instructions that came with the sapling (re. the tube etc.) once it goes outside. I'm very excited too - I'm glad it's not just me! :D

Ok, thanks so much for your help HS... mine is now all planted up in a pot I already had and on the window sill soaking up the sunshine that we're having this half hour. Taken a photo and gonna keep a record every month... I can't believe it, I know this was meant for kids but I'm so excited (the gardening kit itself is going to a family member for Christmas, but I wanted to keep the tree!!). :):)

wow aint you lot lucky id have loved a tree i aint won !!!!!! all when iwas away,
you need a 12inch pot for it and you can restrict the size of it if you dont have much room, just grow in a big pot and not in the garden, when its potted up get some straw around the tree and soil that way it help keeps the moisture in

Ah thanks bella you know your stuff! :):)
It's in a 6 inch pot at the moment - I assume I can repot as it grows? I think it may have to go in a pot in the garden, good idea. Thanks.
