Hiya Everyone :hello: ,
Back from hols and OMG has it been eventful but nothing compared to your day Laura   . Hope everything's ok, seriously would need an underwear change if it were me!! Good on you for challenging him though!
We left to go on hols 4am last Monday (1st September) and I'm such a coward I didn't tell the schools. West Lothian are such pains when it comes to term time hols that you get no end of !!!!!! from them. I left it to Jamie (18 year old ds1) to phone them on Monday morning and let them know. Plus t-mobile had really rubbish reception at Flamingoland so he couldn't phone us and we couldn't phone him but I gave him the reception's number and he could get us that way. Turned out that Jamie didn't bother letting them know and when Mark's high school phoned him at lunch-time on Monday he said he had no idea where we were!!!!!!!!! He came home from work on Monday to the police and social services about to kick our door down! The only thing that stopped them was our neighbours saying we were really quiet and devoted to the kids and the mini-bus was gone.
That's not all. We came home on Friday to a completely wrecked house. All the doors and windows were open, every light on, every electrical appliance on and mess and food and dirt and bedding everywhere. Jamie came swanning in at 6 o'clock and thought it was all really funny! I was going to throttle him. He had wrecked the pc (only just got it fixed a couple of hours ago) and broke the tumble drier. He then packed a bag of clothes and said he was off!! Can't find him or get him on his mobile and his work phoned this morning to say he didn't turn up.

I spent a fortune at M&S the other day too but my CB went in today so my order with Book People last night was paid for with that lol. I needed the Book People order though as have ordered a few activity sets for my girls to take on holiday & some for my friend's other 2 kids (the one who had her baby boy this morning) so they don't feel left out. Just got email to say it's on it's way as well so hopefully will be here tomorrow x2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

I found out about an hour ago that his work has spoken to him but they wouldn't tell me why he didn't go to work or where he is. His mate Calais has switched his phone off and Jamie's just rings out. He was supposed to move into a flat on 5th October (£675 per month between him and Calais) and his work said if he took anymore time off he wouldn't be getting kept on after his 6 months probation!! Pulling my hair out!!!
Ethan (2) isn't well either! Don't know what's wrong but he's hardly eaten since we came home and just now he's sleeping on the couch and his breathings very fast, no temp but says his throats sore.
Holiday was really brilliant but I wish I hadn't gone away now.0 -

Grrrrr!!! PC's still playing up. Keeps crashing and a blue screen appears with different errors - it's happened 4 times in last hour.
I'll have a tea Benhams if there's any going!0 -
Wow, what an eventful day you've all had.
Laura, I hope you're ok now and you've managed to ring the police and let them know. I'd be terrified!!
Kisto hope the interview went well, I'm sure you did fab
Benhams, hope your tooth feels better soon.
toomanykids, it sounds a nightmare coming back to that! I hope you manage to sort everything out, and find out where Jamie is. I'm sure he's fine, might just need time to come round - especially if he's having trouble at work.0
