Need a bit of advice from friends, might post on mobiles forum later but wondered what you would personally do

I have had my phone about 18 months (bought direct from O2) but for the last few weeks it keeps switching itself off for no reason even when it's showing full battery, sometimes it won't come back on for ages.

I got it on special offer & only paid £30, it came with £10 top up as well so would you take it back to shop to see if they can do anything (still have receipt) buy a new battery & hope it's just that or just buy a new cheap phone? I want to keep the same number if I can for comps as well as personal reasons.

hun what model is it as there was loads that overheated and needed replacing?
take it back to the shop and they will replace it

Yeah it is, a K750i. My DH had the same phone but the screen went funny on that within 10 months & luckily was still under warranty so he got his money back on that but right now thinking it'll probably cost more than it's worth to repair???

Will they replace it though with it being 18 month old? Is there anywhere online saying about them overheating etc? Thanks x
