Amazon Free Delivery

On Wednesday 3rd September (just before midday) I ordered a Sony Walkman NWZA 828K and opted for the FREE Super Saver Delivery.

I received a confirmation of my order a few minutes later stating a dispatch estimate of 8th Sept and delivery estimate between 11 & 17th September.

I received a further email on 4th September to notify me that my order had been despatched and my order turned up this morning (Saturday 6th) via Royal Mail.

All in all, I think that's a pretty good service - especially as I'd paid nowt for delivery.

they seem to be getting better i ordered a wii fit last sunday chose free delivery and it was delivered on wednesday !!

I was just about to post on the same subject.

Yesterday at about 1.30pm I placed an order with Amazon for a largish electrical item that was £100+ cheaper than anywhere else. I chose the free delivery option. The item was delivered at 9am this morning! Great service, well done Amazon :beer:

I ordered a AC to USB power adapter from Amazon (via their Jersey merchant) on Tuesday lunchtime (9th Sept) opting for free delivery and was advised that despatch estimate was 12th (today) and delivery estimate was 18th - 24th September.

I got email confirmation that the item had been despatched Wed 10th at 16:01 and my lovely postman has just delivered it. :T

And the best bit is that this item seems to be out of stock in most of the on-line places I've looked at. :j

They probably arnt that busy thats why they are despatching quickly, come xmas time i would expect it to take alot longer

Yeah Amazon rock. I've always had good service from them. Goods packaged sensibly and way ahead of schedule delivery times.
