Urgent... Note pad to Word format

Need some urgent help !!!!
I have Downloaded a document but it went into Note pad instaed of Word Format...
Just about readable
Does anybody know how, if at all, I can transfer this Doc from notepad, to how it was originally downloaded, into a word format Doc,
without changing the actual document.
Or any suggestions please if you are as clueless as me

Save it if it is an email attachment
Open windows explorer right click the file and choose open with then choose word0 -
was this downloaded as a .txt file??
whatever you have downloaded the right click and goto open with, and chose either wordpad or word.
This will be ok if you have XP anyway0 -
you can just copy and paste into word.what is the plural of moose?

It was a template download, and it seems to have gone into a script type thing.
