  • Watching football on the TV then off to the gym tonight to watch the tennis on Sky (while exercising of course!);
    Checking my Valued Opinions, Yougov and Pigsback accounts (close to getting some vouchers and got my eye on an iPod gear4music system);
    Nothing else!
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Hi Everyone.

    :grouphug: to Sophiesmum

    2 weeks til my hols, still not booked anything but am still watching the holiday online.

    Ive not been on here for the past couple of days (sorry), but I have still been doing DFW things for example,
    • eating breakfast on the way to work
    • taking sandwiches into work
    • avoiding the shop for a choccie bar - taking fruit and 2 slices of soreen with me
    • went to the gym last night (first time in 9 months :eek:) it was really good, Ive missed it
    Today I have/will be....
    • Breakfast and luch from storecupboard
    • Need to buy essentials from supermarket, but will make a list
    • Going to hosp to see my nan in a moment - will treat myself to a coffee out of the machine
    • Try not to spend too much (more money for hols)
    Think that is about it, if there is any more, I will come back

    Take care

    Hello Everyone

    I have really missed posting here over the last few weeks. Just when we were getting on top of our financial situation my husband has ended up unemployed. This means that we will struggle to keep our home if he doesn't get something soon. So I will be cutting down as much as I can. Today I have/will:
    • Check online banking
    • Clicks
    • Collect brambles
    • Use vouchers for reduced shopping
    • Store cupboard dinners and baking
    • Look for a job for my OH
    It is so hard to remain positive. I hope that you are all doing well xx

  • Evening all! Not a very DFW day for me, although it started well. Still I'm at work tomorrow so that should be a NSD.

    -Went swimming at gym (free), showered at gym, used hairdryer at gym
    -Went out for lunch- not DFW and was very disappointing so may well email and complain
    -Bought a few very reduced bits to put away for Christmas
    -Bought OH a winter coat
    -Done all available Onepoll surveys
    -Done Piggyclicks
    -Checked for MS

    All in all, a pretty expensive day! Fingers crossed that next week will be low.

    - made some muesli to avoid buying eapensive ones, put it in one of them container things so i have ready made muesli/porridge
    - picked some blackberries from road round the back from me (going back for elderberries tomorrow)
